Commongood Careers is committed to helping jobseekers prepare for opportunities in the social sector. Our jobseeker services are designed for current graduate students, recent graduates, sector or career changers, and anyone seeking personal support in their career development.
Career Advising
Sessions are 1-on-1 with a skilled career advisor, and can be conducted over the phone or in person. Choose from two advising packages:
The Green Package
A one-on-one session with a career advisor that includes:
- Advice on refining your cover letter and resume;
- Consultation around job search strategy;
- Support in developing an effective network for the search.
The fee for this package is $150.
The Blue Package
Includes all the services of the Green Package, plus:
- A practice phone or in-person interview, with individualized feedback for improvement
- More extensive support with networking and referrals for informational interviews
- Support in negotiating and closing a deal, if necessary.
The fee for these services is $250.
Personalized packages can also be developed based on individual needs.
Group Advising
Commongood Careers is also available to conduct on-site career advising sessions with graduate school programs, associations, or other groups. Session topics can include:
- Resume Workshops
- Mock Interview Workshops
- Informational Networking Interviews
On-Site Presentations
