This course is the perfect opportunity for those considering careers in fundraising - an important aspect of the nonprofit sector – as well as for those who are joining the nonprofit world in other capacities and want to learn the ins and outs of fundraising.
Starting a Career in Nonprofit Fundraising is a comprehensive, day-long course that introduces attendees to the vocation of nonprofit fundraising; clarifies the roles and responsibilities of fundraisers; identifies the skills necessary to succeed as a nonprofit fundraising professional, and helps attendees develop a strategy for launching a career in fundraising.
Topics will include:

- Career opportunities in fundraising
- Key competencies required in the field
- Identifying your assets and transferable skills
- Learning job search strategies
